Sledding in the Dark
In one of the last big snow storms Erek promised the boys he would take them out sledding. By the time he got home and we got out there it was already getting dark. but we had lots of fun. The boys are such dare devils, they built 2 big jumps, and loved flying off of them. Izzy got a little scared when the sled would turn around backwards but she had fun riding with dad.

Santy Claus
This past weekend we were lucky enough to go see Santy Claus two times. The boys were very excited about this.
First, on Friday night at our ward Christmas party. Jaycob knew right away that was not the real Mr. Claus. In fact, it sounded a lot like our friend Mike, he told Erek. They still got up there and told him what they wanted, they both asked for the new PS3 Motorstorm Video Game. It just so happens that our PS3 in getting fixed and we wont get it back by Christmas. So we have encouraged them to ask for something else, but they just have to have it.
Then on Saturday morning we were able to go to Erek's Dad's work Christmas party. Which is a real nice, it is at Gardner Village and they serve breakfast and have Santa come for the kids. This time Jaycob asked for a remote control Jeep Wrangler, and Logan asked for the video game still.
Izzy wasn't sure what was going on either time but by the second time she really didn't want to have nothing to do with this big jolly guy.

November Review #1
What? November is over? Wait can I have a do over????
Man, how the time flies and the blog will just patiently sit and wait right. No, not really it is a constant voice in my head to post something but I just never get around to it. So here is our November in a nut shell.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We celebrated with my family on Thursday and with Erek's family on Friday. We have been blessed every year to get 2 Thanksgivings on different days and not have to shovel it all in on one day or pick between the two. Such Yummy food, it just needs to be enjoyed. Thank you to you all.
I would like to also let you know a just a few things that I am thankful for.
1. family. My amazing Husband, who I love so much and who lifts me up to be a better person. My wonderful sweet ever so crazy Kids. I am grateful for them and the simple things they teach me. For all of our extended family for the love and support we get.
2. Friends. What a great support it is to have a friend to lean on and cheer you on. You are all so wonderful.
3. Jesus Christ. I am so grateful for the knowledge of him, our Savior, and the love I feel from him daily. I am so blessed with so many thing around me and I know that our Heavenly Father truly looks out for us.
4. Health. I am very grateful to have a happy and healthy family.
5. Freedom. I am grateful for this land that we live in. Thanks to all those who have fight of us in the past and who are now fighting. I can't imagine living in a war torn country.
,
Now this was a story to cute to not share. Izzy is addicted to Coke-a-cola! Ok, so maybe not like the rest of us out there but oh gosh she justs has to have some of dads when ever she sees it. The other day the boys found Izzy in the kitchen licking the side of an unopened can. They thought it was the cutest thing ever. Jaycob ran for his camera. Well after a minute of laughing and looking at her we realize there is a puddle on the floor, but the can is not opened. Well some how she poked a hole in the side and was licking it up as it sprayed out the side of the can. She is a very determined girl and will get what she wants.

November Review #2
Lunch with the Girls
Denice and Britney have been my best friends since junior high and we email weekly. Since Denice lives out of state in Washington and Britney lives an hour North it has been a long time since we have been able to see each other. But thank goodness for a holiday, Denice came down for Thanksgiving and we had the chance to get together for lunch. It was so much fun to sit and talk and enjoy wonderful cheese fries together. Even though my boys acted like they had never been in a resturant before most of the time. It was still a wonderful afternoon. We were able to meet Britney's beautiful baby girl Brynn. She was so cute, trying to steal her mama's food.
Thanks again girls for coming down, lets do it again sometime soon!

Utah vs. BYU
The Big game.
We went to my parents house for the game and since we were entering a BYU dominating territory, we had to represent the Red. The boys did their hair all crazy and used Halloween hair color in bright red. We all had our Red Utah shirts on and even brought our Friends Kids (they were at the game). It was tons of fun. Lots of food and lots of cheers! You could say the first have was a little scary with the score tied just before the half but then Utah stole to show and finished off BYU 48-24! It was an awesome game, very fun. It will be great to see what bowl game they get, with their 12-0 record for the year. GO UTES!
November Review #4
This has actually been a pretty mild November. The weather hasn't been too cold yet thank goodness. A few weeks ago the kids were out playing in the leaves. They were playing with Drew and Jerrod. It was such a nice day and they really love the leaves. They tried so hard to pile up enough leaves next to the tree so they could attempt to climb up the tree. It didn't go as planned for some reason they still weren't tall enough. But they had tons of fun even Izzy got down in the leaves and explored.

10-0 baby!!!! Go Utes

Last Thursday the Utes were taking on TCU. I happened (erek) to be at work and was really wishing that I could go to the game. One of the ladies at my work was determined to find me some tickets so that I could go to the game. She happened to call one of our loyal customers and he drove his two tickets down to the pharmacy for me. Granted these seats sucked... Actually we didn't even have seats we had to stand at the back. But it didn't matter. We were there cheering on the greatest football team in the nation. It was black Thursday and you couldn't see any red in the stadium. It was sooooo freaking cool. The game was intense. Both defenses were not giving in. TCU's offense seemed to be moving the ball a bit better then the Utes. Two time the were within 40 or so yards for what should be easy field goals. The first one the kicker bangs off the left upright. Then King Louie botches his punt and 2 minutes later they were going for another filed goal attempt. I look at Lisa and say "there is no way he is going to miss another", and the football gods gave us a miracle. He shanked that punt so far right he wasn't even close. 2 minutes left and were down 4. Brian Johnson leads the team down the entire field and with 45 seconds left TOUCHDOWN UTES!!!!!! Unfreaking believable. TCU tries to get back down the field but ends up throwing a pick. What an awesome game. We may not have had stellar offense but when we really needed it, it was there.

I feel bad for our neighbors to the south when they come to visit Rice Eccles Stadium. Utah 35 Byu 10...... There is no way they will get through our defense...
GO UTES!

Date Night
This last weekend Erek And I were able to go out on a much needed date. Erek had the day off and My parents watched the kids. We got tickets to go see Body Worlds. Which was really cool to see. Erek has been studying anatomy this semester, he has been up close and personal with dead bodies so it was really nice to have his expertise. I was a bit concerned if i would be able to handle it cause I can't even look at his anatomy homework. But this display was nicely done and most of the time I would just forget it was the "Real Thing." It really is amazing how wonderful the Human Body is. It is crazy to see how everything works perfectly together.
Afterwards we went to dinner at the CheeseCake Factory - yummy! This was our favorite place in Denver and we are very glad it is now here. We have been saving a gift card from last Christmas, and were so happy to be able to use it, Thanks Julie!

Erek always orders the Cajun Jumbalaya and I got the California Cheese steak. And of course the Raspberry white chocolate cheese cake to go! Yummy.

9 months
Izzy turned 9 months old on the 1st and I can't believe how big she is these days. She is growing and moving constantly. She has been crawling for over a month. She is getting into everything she can, she loved brothers Lego's, banging on pots and pans she pulls out, and eating crayons. This is a video of her crawling around. She loved the camera, she is a big cheese! She could be crying and very mad until see see the camera come out and then she is an angel! She knows how it works!

GO UTES!!!!

This Thursday I had the pleasure of watching the greatest college football game in my life. It was very concerning because Utah did not have a stellar night on offense. Brian Johnson did not seem capable of throwing the ball to save his life. Our Defense really seemed to come through for use and keep OSU out of the end zone. Finally the offense took over at just the right time. The Utes rally back with under 2 minutes down by 8 with a touchdown, 2 point conversion, the defense stopped Oregon and we drove down so Sakoda could win the game with no time left on a 35ish yard field goal to defeat Oregon State and run their record to 6 and 0. What a freaking amazing game. Many people had left because it was so improbable that we would even score. Suckers!!! you never ever leave before the game is done.
WHAT AN AMAZING GAME!!!!

Logan's 1st day of Preschool
We held hands as we walked and I talked him through it. I had given him my "magical" watch and explained what time I would be coming back. Yet, with every step he was getting more upset and scared. Luckily he knew someone in his class but he kept begging me to stay with him. I kept telling him that he was going to have so much fun and that I couldn't stay but it didn't help. I talked to his teachers to let them know that he has a hard time with change and he is very shy until he get to know you. They assured me that he will be fine and not to worry. So I kissed him good by as he was balling and walked out, I didn't realize I would be crying too on the way home. I did call his class room an hour later to check up on him, like a crazy mother would do. But this time around it was so much harder. Logan had been my little shopping buddy for the last 4 years, now Izzy will take over that title. He is really a mama's boy and I have loved being so close to him.
Later when I picked him up he was so excited to tell me all about his new friends and the school rules and of course play time. He had a great day! Each day it is getting a little easier for him to go and he always comes home so excited about his day.
Good job little buddy, I can't believe how big you are growing!
As a side note, I made this scrapbook page online. I have so far decide not to do my scrapbooking digital, because I love being creative and I have so much stuff. But I found this website scrapblog.com and thought I would try it. Its totally free and has lots of fun options. So I had fun doing it.

Happy Birthday Erek!
So for his Birthday we went to Costa Vida for dinner (yummy!) with our friends the Vester's. Then that evening we had a few friends out for some ice cream and cake. It was a great day and we had lots of fun.

This is Giddeon, he is a eating machine. It is always great fun when Adams feeds him, he just lets him really enjoy his food.
Happy Birthday to ME!
For the last month if you asked Erek what he wanted for his birthday, he would say a bike for me so I will go riding with him. How sweet is that! He is so hooked on mountain biking these days and he really wants me to get out there with him. Even though I am really scared to actually go mountain biking, I really love my new bike. He was so excited for me to get a bike. We have already gone out a few times on family bike rides and a little trail riding. It will be a really fun family activity for a long time.
Erek, I hope you had a wonderful Birthday! You are wonderful and I love you so very much!
