Snow

The great snow of 2010!
While Erek was off in California enjoying the crazy none stop rain. Were were back here with the wild snow storm of our own. This is what we awoke to Sunday morning. During the night the wet snow had split one of the front trees in the yard in half it was crazy. It was sad to lose the tree but Grandpa had to chop it down as it was blocking the neighbors drive way. We spend Sunday morning shoveling (playing) the snow.

My kids love the snow. Jaycob can spend hours out there and never gets cold. Me ont he other hand, I just don't last very long.

California

For Erek's Birthday I got him plane tickets to go visit his best friend Adam in California. Adam just moved back in the summer but these two boys really missed each other. They were really excited to get together and hang out for a few days.
He flew out Thursday afternoon, their kids were so excited to see him, especially Jerrod. He is Erek's little buddy! It took Gideon a little while to figure out what was going on but he was excited to see Erek too.

Most of the day Friday they hung out at home, Adam had to work for a little while from home and Erek played with Gideon and Sammy. The weather was not the warm summer weather Erek had planned on it rained and rained all weekend long. In one short break in the rain the boys took the kids to the skate park to ride bikes for a little bit.
That night, after Amber got done at school they had a babysitter for the kids and they went out. I don't remember where they went but I know Erek said it was really good. After wards they went and walked around Amber's school for a little while.

For Erek's birthday Adam bought him tickets to the Utah vs San Diego Football game. These two are crazy about football. They were really excited Saturday afternoon. The weather was still raining and it got worst and worst all day. This is a picture of the ocean from the car wind as they drove down to San Diego. It looks like it is clearing up by no it was a down pour during the game.



They had such a fun time at the game, they really needed some guy time! Luckily the Utes were able to pull off a win at the very end and made it a very exciting game. By the end they were drenched from top to bottom from the cold rain, but it was worth it.

Thank you Adam for taking care of my hubby for a few days! I know that he had a blast and misses you very much.

Twins

Welcome Nora and Garrett! On October 4th, my sister Julie gave birth to her two new little babies. They are so dang cute. They had to be in the Hospital for a few weeks before they could come home but now that they are home they are doing great. Julie is so amazing, I don't know how she can do it with tins and a 3 year old too. They are all doing great and we had the chance to go down and visit them.

Our Halloween this year was a very fun filled and busy weekend. We had lots of fun family, school and neighborhood parties to attend. We had a family party with the cousins on the Oviatt side. Logan was very excited for to help grandma decorate the house all spooky. We had a little haunted house area where grandma made her special witches brew. We had Pizza and lots of Halloween deserts.

When we went to the ward Primary halloween Party both boys dressed up as Pirates and Bella wore her Monkey costume.




Logan all a long didn't have a costume in particular he just wanted some thing bloody. Since, his school didn't want gory costumes he wore different costumes until Halloween night. Thats when dad had fun making his bloody costume. Is he a zombie or a guy that was thrown from a moving bus. Either way it was just what he had wanted.
We had fun Trick O' Treating in the neighborhood. After a little while Erek and Bella went back to watch the football game and I took the boys out for a little longer. they got so much candy. they had a definite sugar high the next few days.

Pumpkins

Pumpkin Picking
We love going to the pumpkin patch every fall. It is one of our favorite family traditions to go find the perfect pumpkins. After we find our pumpkins we go out for some pie and hot chocolate.

A few weeks later we spend the afternoon carving our pumpkins.
