Monster Trucks!

Saturday night Erek's dad took the boys To the Monster Truck show for Boys Night Out!
They had lots of fun. They saw King Crunch, and cheered really loud. They were even a bit silly. They saw 4 wheelers racing and Trucks that transformed into Robots and fought each other.

Valentines!

So those of you that really know me know I live my life about a week behind. I have good intentions of doing better at this blog thing but it just doesn't work most all the time.
So we send out our love to you all this valentines especially to Erek!
5 simple things I love about Erek are

1. his friendliness! He is always so friendly with everyone.

2. How he will fall asleep holding Isabella long before she does. (He did with the boys too when they were little)

3. He is always willing to help someone else out. There was a day last fall when Jaycob saw someone in our court trying to fix their car. he told them that he would get his dad cause he could fix it. And he ran to get Erek, telling him that he had to go fix someones car. I love that Erek is that example for my boys of service to others.

4. The way he always makes me laugh. He's not afraid to be silly or a clown.

5. The way he loves me . He will always tell me that he loves me and after a long day with 3 kids it can mean so much.

Erek I love you and hope you had a great Valentines day and I know I did just being with you!

Sunshine!!

This last weekend we needed a break from school and the foot of snow outside our home. SO we had the chance to excape to St. George for the weekend. It was so nice to be a way and even nicer that it was finally warm. We went swimming, shopping and just relaxed for a little while.
On Sunday, Logan turn 4. So he got to celebrate his birthday while we were on vacation. He was supper excited. He got a remote control FJ truck, a leap pad computer, and a video game. It was really tons of fun. I can't believe he is 4 . He thinks he is really grown up, don't dare call him little!
We love him very much and are so happy to see him grow up. He is so silly but gets shy if you look at him too much. He not afraid to get up and dance, but doesn't want you to watch too much but I can't resist. We love you Logan and are so happy to have you in our family.

So on Sunday morning in St George we always make it a tradition to go just wonder around the car and RV dealerships and just dream of the day when we can afford to buy some thing. Erek Hopes this is him in about 7 years with the keys to this jeep in his hands!

That A kid!

At Jaycob's school, DIA, they send home a weekly newsletter telling what is going on. Way back in November we noticed one day in the newsletter that they had started honoring 2 children from each grade as student of the month. And Jaycob was one of the first. He was the student of the month in his class for November. So we told him how proud we were and how cool it was. We also told him to ask his teacher what we got for being student of the month, since it was a surprise to him as much as it was to us.
I don't know if he asked his teachers or not but by not we had kind of forgotten about it. Until just the other day he brought home a surprise, They had finally awarded him for being student of the month with a new DIA t-shirt that he was very proud of (and Logan can't wait to wear also). Jaycob had also said that his picture was hanging up in the front office with a note from his teacher about him. The note said, "Jaycob is very responsible young man. He is always on task and a very good listener. He is very polite to everybody. Jaycob is a good role model for the other students."
We have known that Jaycob is very good in school, he really tries hard in all he does. At the last parent teacher conference his teacher told me that he is the student that can be partners with anyone and they don't have to worry about him. He is a good friend to all. He will always make sure that his pictures and work look good for his dad. She said that he must have a strong relationship with his dad cause he always wants to show his dad what he has been working on.
Jaycob we love you and are very proud of you and all your hard work!
I just need my bumper sticker now!

go jazz!!!

About 2 weeks ago Erek was invited to a jazz game with someone from work. The Boys were pretty sad that he would not take them alone too. Erek felt pretty bad so he found some cheap seats and took the whole family last week. We were the second row from the top but still had tons of fun.

Basketball is the sport that we all enjoy watching as a family. So it was lots of fun to see the Jazz beat San Antonio!
