Week ONE

Our Utah Girl
Alivia has been in our family for one week now. Oh, how I am loving being with her and my family at home. Not loving the sore and slow recovery, but I make up for it in millions of kisses to this precious little girl. She is so sweet and has been an amazing baby so far. She of course spends most of the day sleeping but when she is awake she is very alert and sweet. She doesn't cry much at all and I'm sure that will change in the upcoming months but for now we are just loving it. She is grow wonderfully and is almost back to her birth weight. She has made nursing so much easier since she just know what she is doing.
Bringing baby home

This week has been so busy and overwhelming for all of us. Erek started his graduate program on Monday. He has been really overwhelmed with it and stressing about the challenges that it will bring. I know that he will do amazing and hopefully after a few weeks he will be able to feel more in the groove of it all. It is a blessing that I am able to be home right now and help him adjust to school again.

I have been trying to really take it easy and give my body time to heal up but it has been really hard to slow down especially when there is so much going on and so many people that are counting on me. It is so hard for me to not be able to drive and ask for help getting around. Also, the boys started school this week, and it has been hard to arrange to get them to and fro.

It has been really exciting and a little bit of a struggle starting at a new school. We were able to get them into Vista Elementary that is just about 7 minutes away and they are in the Dual Immersion Program at the school.

Jaycob is starting the 4th grade. He said he really likes his teachers. It has been a little hard getting back into the routine of homework and school assignments but he is really like it and making new friends.
Logan has started the 2nd grade. Luckily, his Spanish teacher, Ms. Lopez, is someone that we knew from the DIA. We were hoping knowing his teacher would make the transition to a new school easier for him. Unfortunately, Logan has still had a rough adjustment. He just feels lost in the Spanish and also worries that he has no friends. It really breaks my heart to see him get so upset and not want to go to school. Erek spent the day with him earlier this week and tried to ease his worries, but now he wants dad to come every day. Yet, he is bring brave and trying to work though this. I know he will make tons of friends and love school again soon, he just needs to get over his fears. Bella is adjusting amazingly to having a new baby sister. She has been the biggest helper ever! She is so cute, if Alivia starts to fuss at all, she jumps in and gets her binky and talks to her. She is so cute. She misses her brothers through out the day but I think she really likes having the girls only time.
