"It's the Great Pumkin Charlie Brown"

I love the Fall. I love the month of October, but wow we sure are busy all month long. But one of our Family Traditions has to be to go pick out that perfect bright orange pumpkin. This year was no exception. So on a nice crisp fall evening we headed out. We love to go to a big field and search to find just the right one.

After our search is done and we have our prize pumpkins loaded up we like to head over to get a slice of pie and some hot chocolate. We just head to Village Inn because it is just down the street from the pumpkin patch. (We are looking for a new place to go for Pie any suggestions?) We had a great time and of course the boys had to order Pumpkin Pie to complete the night.

Then a couple days later it was time to do some carving. I found my new favorite pumpkin carving tool the PUMPKIN GUTTER. You hook it up to your standard drill and it is basically a big beater that gets all the guts out in no time flat. You have to get one, with 4 kids taking the guts out used to take forever but now it is sooo easy.

Bella wanted to be the one to drill out her pumpkin but they had to check muscles and hers wasn't quite big enough yet.

Yes, Jaycob has pink red hair (don't tell him its pink). It was crazy hair day at school and he went with it all colored.

Here are some of the finished pumpkins, My pictures didn't really turn out this year, what a bummer!
