Blue

Our annual Blue Lake Camping Trip
For the 24th of July, since I was like 2 we have gone as a family with our closest neighbors up to Blue Lake. It is about 3 hours from Salt Lake, up Ephraim Canyon. We love it up there. We had a good time Fishing, relaxing, 4wheeling and being out in nature. I know this is a lot of pictures, I took over 175 while we were there. But when your having fun might as well capture it.

The Waterfall

The Kids will be kids!
The mud fight, Have I mentioned how much my kids love the mud?
Some how Logan was the mud monster and all the kids were on a team against him. I think he did pretty good holding his own. They loved it until they had to be stripped down outside to have a shower.

All clean after the Mud Adventures back at camp.

Mama's Jeepie!
2 days before we traded in the van for a new Toy. I got a Jeep Liberty and I totally love it! What a way to break in a new vehicle. The kids were so excited to get mom's jeep dirty.

Friends

We are so lucky to have so many wonderful friends. Earlier this month, Our friends the Vestors came into town from California. Yes, they only moved a month ago, but we miss them greatly. It was perfect timing to see them again and have a little time to hang out with them all.  We spent a few days with them up in Park City at a condo, which was tons of fun (Thanks again for having us up there!).

On Monday, Erek and Adam had a great time riding the hill on Mountain bikes. The first ride, Erek's chain broke, they had to ride the tram back down. Second ride, Adam flipped over the handle bars. But they still rode down. It started off pretty crazy but by the end of the day they were able to get in a few really good rides. Erek was in heaven!

Amber and me stayed back with the kids and had fun playing on the playground and in the condo. That evening before the Tram closed the dad's took all the kids for a ride on it to the top of the mountain and back. They loved it.

The WILD Kids
The Condo was so fun. It was at the Summit Resort at the Canyons. The room was nice and big and open. There was a loft that some how turned into the war zone, because pillows were constantly flying up to it and dropping down on unsuspecting victims. It was a blast.

After Dinner Monday, we all went swimming. We all love swimming. We have this big "dragon/Dinosaur" that all the boys try to jump on and ride it. It is pretty hilarious to watch Erek and Adam trying to hold on as it flips them off.

The Vestors were here for a week and we were able to see them a lot. Right before they left I met Amber and the Kids at Gardner Village for a final good bye. These two are so cute together, they just love each other. I know Bella misses her best friend Gideon.
We are so glad you guys came. We miss you so much, I guess it is our turn to come out there!

Mud

My kids love the Mud.
If they see a dirt pile the have to play in it.
If the see water they have to play in it.
So nothing is sweeter to them, then when they can put water in the dirt pile and make some good old mud!

This is our Princess Isabella. She insists on wearing dresses every day. The more girly, frilly, and fancy they are the better. She loves to twirl in the dress and let it fly up high. Yet, wearing her best dress and her white church shoes does not stop her from still enjoying the MUD.

Fourth

Happy Fourth of July!
I know this post is way over do but it has been a crazy month for us. I can't believe that the summer is already half over. Luckily we have been so busy out playing and enjoying every minute of the first half of summer. Here is what we did to celebrate our Country's Independence Day.

On Saturday, July 3rd we make it a tradition to go up to North Salt Lake and enjoy some big fireworks. I would say I think they do the best in the state because they never disappoint. Since both Erek and I had to work that day, My brother Josh was kind enough to take the boys up so they could play. My parents also took Bella up and then Erek and I came up as soon as we got off work. We had a great time playing on the golf course and then watching the fireworks. Since I got up there late, no pictures from that night.

Sunday, July 4th, we went up to visit with Grandma king and enjoy some legal Utah fireworks at her house. We had a nice dinner and fun visiting with her. Then Uncle Lee and Erek started doing the fire works. Utah fire works are pretty lame for the most part, but they made it more exciting by starting one of Grandma's bushes on fire. Luckily, Lee was quick to put it out, but it was a good laugh. That night when we got back home We did a few Sparklers and small fire works with my parents. Our neighbor next door always goes up to Evanston, Wy, to get some more exciting fireworks so we watched him shoot off those ones too.
Monday, July 5th, since this was the day that we had off work we had another adventurous day of playing. That evening just as Erek and I were going to go out on the town, Logan busted his head on the flower bed bricks. Luckily, we were still there. He was bleeding a ton and had a nice big hole in his head, I almost lost it a couple of times when I looked at it. So Erek and I rushed him to the InstaCare.  The people there were great, the Doctor just super glued to back together. Logan was glad that there was no stitches or needles involved. He was very tough and brave.

Playing

Earlier this week, Jaycob and I were away all day Monday and Tuesday at Cub Country. We had a lot of fun. While we were away Erek was home with Logan and Isabella. He is such a wonderful dad, he isn't content with just sitting at home and relaxing on his day off. No, he took the kids on some adventures and really played and had fun with them while we were gone. On Monday, they cleaned the house (thank you!) and then went out and bought a new slip'n slide, because we can't find the one from last year. They had a great time in the back yard playing in the water and racing down the slide. Logan had a hard time getting to the end but still he loved it. Isabella was more into filling up her cups with the water then the slide. All in all the had a great day.

Then on Tuesday, they Erek took the kids up to the zoo. It was pretty hot outside but they still had tons of fun. Logan was so excited to tell me all about the Bird show they saw and the Elephant show with the baby elephant. They had lot of fun. They are so lucky to have such a fun dad! After the zoo, the got some lunch and went to the old park by the village to play on the playground.
